2-Ingredient Cookies?! And they're HEALTHY?!

I honestly don't even know if I can call these cookies, you guys. They're SERIOUSLY good for you. And cookies typically are NOT. But, I baked them on a baking sheet, in cookie form, so, here ya go. A healthy, tasty, super easy cookie recipe. Mind you, these are also gluten-free AND dairy-free. I mean honestly, could they be any more perfect?!

Here's what you need: 4 ripe bananas and two cups of gluten-free oats (or regular oats if you don't care about them being gluten-free). Yep. That's all you actually NEED. Now, I added several other ingredients, but they are completely optional. You can add these ingredients as well, or you can choose your own!


- 4 ripe bananas

- 2 cups oats (I used Trader Joe's old fashioned rolled oats)

- 4 tsp cinnamon

- 1/4 c flax seed

- 1/2 c cacao nibs OR dark chocolate chips (I used Private Selection 62% cacao chips)

Preheat oven to 360*F & grease cookie sheet(s). Smash bananas until they're virtually liquid, then add in oats & other ingredients as you wish (other tasty options include walnuts, chia seeds, nutmeg, etc). Once batter is mixed well, spoon cookies onto baking sheet(s) & stick in the oven! Set timer for 15 min; check on cookies at that point (insert toothpick, etc). If they're done, yank 'em out! If not, throw them back in for a few more minutes. My oven runs super hot so while mine were done in 15 min, yours may not be.
